Blog Elul: Prompt 30: Return

Return

Whenever we are on the precipice of a New Year we all get to return to a fresh slate for the New Year. Whether it Rosh Hashanah, January 1 the start of a new school year or maybe returning to somewhere we’ve been before we all get a chance to have hope to return.

When everything old is new again it gives us a chance to start over in familiar surroundings. What do we return to? What are we pining for? A new start? A chance to begin again? This is a reason not to burn bridges. We always need to keep open the possibility of returning.
